EgyptEra Board

The Board of Directors of EgyptEra is formed under the chairmanship of the Minister and the membership of:
  1. 1- CEO

  2. 2- Four representing consumers as follows:

    3. - Head of the Competition Protection and Prevention of Monopolistic Practices Authority, or whoever is nominated by its board of directors.


    - The head of the Consumer Protection Agency or whoever is nominated by its board of directors.


    - The president of the Federation of Egyptian Industries or whoever is nominated by its board of directors.


    - President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce or whoever is nominated by its board of directors.


  3. 3- Three representing the electricity utility nominated by the concerned minister.

  4. 4- Four experts in technical, financial, legal and civil society institutions who are not working in the electricity utility, to be chosen by the Prime Minister.

The Board of Directors of EgyptEra was reformed based on the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 606 of 2019 for a period of three years.
